We invite researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts to submit their abstracts for the 11th Sustainable Development Conference (SDC2025), taking place from July 15-17, 2025, in vibrant Bangkok, Thailand. 11th Sustainable Development Conference [SDC2025] accepts the following types of submissions and they will be evaluated as follows:

- All submissions undergo peer review based on the criteria above and the applicant's professional and personal background to ensure a dynamic and diverse learning environment.
- Admission decisions are communicated within seven days of application submission.
- Early application is encouraged due to limited conference space.

Md. Touhidul Alam Khan is multifaceted management professional with 30 years of diversified banking experience in setting strategies, conducting operational plans and establishing goals for credit, corporate & investment banking, sustainable development, sustainable banking, development economics, green industry, green banking, micro, small & medium enterprises, financial inclusion, anti-money laundering, public-private partnership, industrial management with competencies in originating and executing structured finance & syndication loan deals involving a variety of asset-backed securitizations in Bangladesh also having expertise in sustainability reporting and climate change. Mr. Khan is presently additional managing director, chief risk officer & chief anti money laundering compliance officer of Standard Bank, Bangladesh. During his long banking careers, he worked at Agrani Bank, Prime Bank, Bank Asia & Modhumoti Bank and held senior management positions in different capacities. He is a fellow member of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), associate fellow member of Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance (IIBI), United Kingdom, certified professional and life member of Basel iii Compliance Professionals Association of the United States and the first certified sustainability reporting assurer in Bangladesh. He is also a contributor at the business magazine, ‘Asian Banking & Finance’, Singapore, Intrnational Correspondent of Islamic Fiannce News (IFN), the world’s leading Islamic finance news provider of Malaysia, contributor of ‘The Asian Banker’, Singapore and holds innumerable national and international prestigious awards to his credit for his writings. He is pursuing PhD on “Sustainability Reporting under Global Reporting Initiavie: A Study on Private Commercial Banks in Bangladesh.” |
Dr. Blessing Anyikwa
She is an Associate Professor from the Department of Adult Education, Faculty of Education with specialization in adult literacy. She graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1994 with a B.Ed. in Adult Education, Master’s and Ph.D. degree in Adult Education (Literacy) in 1998 and 2008 respectively from the University of Lagos. Her research focus is in Adult Literacy, Literacies (Environmental literacy), Adult Education, and literacy for disadvantaged groups in Nigeria especially in integrating those with indigenous education to formal, informal and non-formal education. She is a member of the Nigerian National Council for Adult Education (NNCAE), Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and Educational Research Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA) amongst others. She has publications in Local and Foreign journals and has served as resource person at workshops, seminars and conferences within and outside Nigeria notable are UNESCO, UNICEF, NMEC amongst others. |
Dr. Sujata Karve
Sujata is an Architect- planner with over 20 years of experience in academics and 10 years in sustainable planning and environmental design consultancy. Currently the Head of Department of M. Arch (Environmental Architecture) at BNCA, Pune, she holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture from MMCA, Pune, Masters degree in Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and was awarded a Ph. D in 2018 from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. With a focus on environment and environmental behaviour, she is actively involved in various research oriented activities and academics. She is also an environmental consultant with the Fourth Dimension Group, Pune. She is also on the Doctoral Research committees at BNCA, Pune, SRM University, Chennai and Dayanand Sagar College of Architecture, Bangalore and has acted as reviewer for the IC2UHI International conference. She has guided over 30 masters dissertations, over 50 research papers at masters level and 50 research papers at UG level. |

Dann Diez is a climate justice activist and international speaker on leadership, sustainability and green business. His passion for people and planet brought him to help and mobilize eco-actions in the island and indigenous communities. His training, experience and global involvement in social enterprise and sustainable development made a mark because of his dedicated commitment in sharing this to the grassroots communities. Founder and Executive Director of Sustainable Energy and Enterprise Development for Communities (SEED4COM) that empower communities and change lives through the promotion of Renewable Energy for all in off grid, last mile and disaster risks communities, environmental conservation, education and entrepreneurship. Dann is also the co-founder of Pusyon Kinaiyahan Internationale (alliance of the earth) a grassroots movement for the protection of people and the planet. Currently the Secretary General of the Philippine Marine Environmental Protection Association, Country Coordinator for Philippine Waste Platform, former Foundation for the Philippine Environment Visayas Regional Advisory Committee, former SK councilor and co-founder of the Students in Action for Values and Empowerment (SAVE) a political student organization in Cebu. |
Aisyah Pia Asrunputri
Aisyah Pia Asrunputri, BA (Hons)., MM. is a lecturer, reviewer and doctoral student from Indonesia. She is the author of Building the Paradigm of Sustainable Learning Organization: Management Effort in Reaching Business Excellence (DD Publishing, 2018). Her current research focuses on the dynamic capabilities in the public organizations in emerging countries such as Indonesia. Pursuing this research agenda, she has been recently writing a book on how dynamic capabilities influence the pursue of competitive advantage. Since 2021, she has been a reviewer for numerous high impact Scopus journals including Nature. |
Dr. Nirmal Kumar Srivastava
Dr. N. K. Srivastava did his B. Tech. from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI) Kanpur, M. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar. Presently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar. He has 25 years of experience in teaching and research. He has published over 60 research papers in various refereed journals and conferences and 05 Books/Book Chapters. He is reviewer of 34 peer reviewed refereed SCI/ Scopus indexed journals and e-books. He is member of organizing committees of 30 Scopus indexed international conferences of repute throughout the world over. He has visited 06 countries to present his paper in reputed International Conferences. He has been invited as national committee member to be part of ‘Subject Expert Group’ for “Liquid Waste Management” for Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, an initiative of Ministry of Education, Government of India. |
